INFORMATION ON SWIM LESSONS 2007
Where: Richardson Family YMCA on Custer Rd.
When:
Session I June 4 – June 14
Session II June 18 – 28
Session III July 9 - 19
Each session runs Monday – Thursday for two weeks. Fridays are set aside
as rain make up days. If we have enough interest, we can schedule a fourth
session in late July.
Time: 10:00 – 10:40. Swimmers must be at school and dressed in their swim
suit no later than 9:30AM. The busses will leave promptly at 9:45AM.
Cost: $65.00 per session per child. No multi-child discount applies. Payment
for session I must be made by May 25th, for session II by June 8th and for
session III by June 29th. Make checks payable to The Village School.
Who: All children who are at least 3 years old and toilet trained.
Children must be at least 36 inches tall in order to ride our bus.
Transportation: The children will ride to the YMCA in our air-conditioned
school busses. Please note that our busses are equipped with factory installed
seat belts but do not have child safety seats.
Grouping: The children are grouped according to age as well as prior swim
experience.
Staffing: The instructor to swimmer ratio is 1:6. The YMCA has 2 or more
lifeguards on duty and The Village School sends 3 or 4 staff to help supervise
the children.
